Happy May!

We wish to express a friendly reminder that our Summer Uniform Policy is now in effect, but please have your child continue to bring their school sweater daily as the classroom is colder.

Congratulations to the 2nd Graders as they received the Sacrament of 1st Holy Communion this Saturday!

Congratulations to all the participants of our Earth Day Projects : Maya Bonn, Giselle DeSantiago, Blaire Davey, Izabella Gagne, Mia Garner, Giselle Gougeon, Isabella Lauria, Gracie McCaleb, Scarlett Medina, Pamela Mercedes, Audrianna Miranda, Rebecca Rickert, Clara Shevorski, and Andrew Lemus! We enjoyed seeing the children’s projects! A special congratulations to our Kindergarten winners - 1st: Audrianna Miranda 2nd: Izabella Gagne 3rd: Scarlett Medina

We also wish to congratulate our Students of the Month, Cash Delgado and Giselle DeSantiago! We are so proud of you both!

We continue to learn about Mexican culture and traditions by completing a booklet all about Mexico! The boys and girls learned that Mexican money are called pesos, that the people love music and dancing, the different climates of Mexico, and some of the animals found there!

The Life Skill of the week is Initiative: To do something because it needs to be done.

In Language Arts, the boys and girls are learning about consonant Rr as they joyously do activities and read stories about the Superkids and their adventures.

Boardwork this week : Hail Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

In Math, we have enjoyed getting creative finding all the different ways we can decompose, or break apart a single number, but we are ready to use those skills and begin our chapter on addition this week!

In Science the boys and girls have been watching their caterpillars grow before their eyes, enter their chrysalis, and are anxiously awaiting for them to become beautiful butterflies while learning about the life cycle of a butterfly! We are also learning about what foods come from plants and which do not.

Please be sure to sign their homework each night; always encouraging them, as we do, to do their very best.  Please listen as your child reads/reviews the Sight Word Study Guide List at home. Also, continue to review number recognition (1-100).

Thank you and have a Blessed week!
