  • Life Skill of the Week: Curiosity
  • Weekly Accelerated Reading Percentage: 24%
  • Please initial assignment books nightly after homework has been checked. Communications can be made through the assignment book as well under parent-teacher comments. 
  • Students should be taking 2 AR quizzes each week. Please check that books are at least 1 point. 
  • Please designate a workspace for your child to complete their homework and discuss printing efforts, messy work will be redone.
  • It is never too early to practice multiplication fact fluency. I have sent charts home for students to practice a few minutes nightly in preparation for multiplication. 
  • Thank you kindly to parents who have generously donated water and snacks to the classroom!
  • The book, Crenshaw by Katherine Applegate needs to be in class by October 13. 
  • It's Parent Teacher conference week and I am looking forward to meet with each of you.
  • Wednesday is free dress in honor of the Golden Knights first win of the season.
  • There is no book club meeting on Thursday this week. 
  • The new book for the book club is Flora and Ulysses by Kate Dicamillo
  • Ofrendas are due October 30 if participating. Details are on the home and school connection
