Welcome to Third Grade!  Included below you will find a link to our overview of Third Grade expectations for the 2025-2026 school year.  
Third Grade Newsletter
  • Life Skill of the Week: 
  • Weekly Accelerated Reading Percentage: 90%
  • Please initial assignment books nightly after homework has been checked. Communications can be made through the assignment book as well under parent-teacher comments. 
  • Students should be taking 2 AR quizzes each week. Please check that books are at least 1 point. 
  • Please designate a workspace for your child to complete their homework and discuss printing efforts, messy work will be redone. 
  • Thank you kindly to parents who have generously donated water and snacks to the classroom! 
  • Fact fluency will continue to be evaluated. Please practice facts 0-12
  • The third-grade class starts writing everything in cursive beginning Monday 1/5. Additional maintenance homework will be sent home nightly. Everything must be written in cursive moving forward. Work that is turned in written in manuscript will be redone. Thank you for your support.
  • Our fun run fundraiser has started! Thank you kindly for all of your support.
  • Our field trip to the lion habitat is this Tuesday 4/14. Students must wear their mass uniforms (white polo) with proper skort/shorts and white crew socks. Sweaters are optional.
