  • Life Skill of the Week: Problem Solving
  • Weekly Accelerated Reading Percentage: 42%
  • Please initial assignment books nightly after homework has been checked. Communications can be made through the assignment book as well under parent-teacher comments. 
  • Students should be taking 2 AR quizzes each week. Please check that books are at least 1 point. 
  • Please designate a workspace for your child to complete their homework and discuss printing efforts, messy work will be redone. 
  • Thank you kindly to parents who have generously donated water and snacks to the classroom! 
  • Fact fluency will continue to be evaluated. Please practice facts 0-12
  • Holiday book orders are due Friday 11/21. I will be sending orders home in sealed brown paper bags in case anyone is ordering for Christmas gifts.
  • Winter uniform has begun.
  • Our class needs empty toilet paper rolls, about 70 more. If you finish a roll please don't throw it away, send it in.
  • Turkey obstacle courses are due 11/19. I cannot wait to see the creativity!
  • Ch.5-9 for math heavily rely on multiplication fact fluency. Please continue to work on fact memorization.
  • Students are asked to bring 12 canned/non-perishable items for our food drive this week. Free dress passes will be given for participation. Thank you for your generosity and for encouraging your children to help care for others.
