Math Facts In A Flash
Research shows that parental involvement in a child's education is directly related to success in the classroom. Our students use a program, “Math Facts in a Flash.” This software program provides students with essential practice focusing on their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts, as well as other mental math skills such as squares and conversion of fractions, decimals, and percentages. Now that our students have had ample exposure to “Math Facts” during the school day, we would like to see them continue practicing at home. In order for students to become proficient, it is necessary to practice a minimum of three times per week. “Math Facts” is part of Renaissance Place – using Renaissance Home Connect students and parents can log on at home using the same user name and password that they use for Accelerated Reading. (User Name: 1st letter of student’s first name and first four letters of student’s last name; Password: student’s initials). Example: Johnny Smith (User Name: jsmit; Password: js). In order for our students to be successful at higher level math, mastery of math facts is essential. Parent's Guide to Math Facts In A Flash is included in the file listed below.
