Math Fluency And Concepts

Research shows that parental involvement in a child's education is directly related to success in the classroom.  Our students use “Freckle” to measure fluency of math facts (similar to what was used in the past - “Accelerated Math”).  This software program provides students with essential practice focusing on their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts.  

 

Now that our students have had ample exposure to “Freckle” during the school day, we would like to see them continue practicing at home. In order for students to become proficient, it is necessary to practice a minimum of three times per week.
