Multi-Cultural Week

Dear Kindergarten Parents,
St. Francis de Sales School will be celebrating Multi-Cultural Week from Monday, March 18th through Friday, March 22nd.
Kindergarten has been learning about the customs, culture, and food of United States of America. In addition to what we are studying in the classroom, we are asking the boys and girls to complete a creative project, about the USA. A map, travel brochure, art project, musical instrument, or food item are just a few suggestions. The boys and girls will present their projects to the class during the week of March 18th through the 22nd.
Also, we are very excited about the Multi-Cultural Assembly on Friday March 22nd! The girls are asked to please wear a jean or western style skirt, with a western style blouse (or school uniform with their white polo shirt). The boys are to please wear long jeans with a western type shirt (or winter uniform long blue pants with their red polo shirt). If your child has western boots that would be great: if not, tennis shoes with socks will be just fine. The boys and girls are allowed to come to school on Friday, March 22nd wearing their performance clothes.
We hope to see everyone for the school-wide Multi-Cultural Assembly at 1:15 p.m in Msgr. LaVoy Hall.
