Yearly Projects

As mentioned at Open House, here is a quick glance at our year!

Please refer to this page to make note of our classroom projects throughout the year.
St. Francis de Sales students are required to create their own original story to be entered into this annual writing contest tradition!

Second Grade students are required to write a minimum of 100 words and a maximum of 250 words. Five (5) illustrations must be included in your story. Stories can be typed. Page numbers belong on the back on the page.

Due date will be introduced later.
Learning beyond our country is a great way for our young students to understand a global respect for all.

Posters, cookbooks and recipes, classroom tastings, 3D models of buildings are all some of the fantastic ways you can help represent our country!

More information will be introduced later.
The study of economics and financial literacy is so important for our students! A big way for my students to understand the difference between producers and consumers is for your child to be one!

Your student will need to create 30 individual items to sell to others in class. The items that they wish to make can be anything! A poster board with their store name, picture of their product, and the selling price must be included.

More information will be introduced later.
